We met a French couple, Louis and Stefanie, who own a modular catamaran company. They are just launching their first boats, and they are taking a trip through Cambodia before their lives get hectic. Naturally, when we had some free time on Koh Rong island, we decided to rent a catamaran on the beach and take it out for an hour. Crystal water, “caster sugar sand,” (Alice’s description, 100% accurate) blue skies, and a good wind made us all very happy indeed.
