Closing the Gap

Knowing what to do isn’t enough.  There’s a gap between what we know we should do and what we’re actually doing.

The questions:

  1. What is the goal?
  2. What should we do to reach that goal?
  3. What are we doing right now to get to that goal?

And the most important question: How do we close that gap?

Eating vegetables, drinking more water, exercising daily, sleeping eight or nine hours a night, investing money, spending time with people we love – we should do more of these things.

Eating flour and sugar, drinking alcohol or soda, binge watching television, going to sleep at midnight for a 7 a.m. start, impulse buys, and social media – we should stop these things altogether.

The way forward is to close the gap.
